The main task of orthotics is development and manufacture of devices for the lower limbs and torso. Such orthoses are used to fix the musculoskeletal system of patients with cerebral palsy and other neuropathologies, injuries of the spine and spinal cord, as well as strokes and injuries.
Tellus Prosthetic and Orthopedic Care Center is the only center in Ukraine that manufactures complex orthoses for walking – reciprocal orthoses (RGO) – devices for restoring and correcting gait. RGO are manufactured using components from Becker Orthopedic (USA), a leading world company, namely a complex system of splints, hinges and a half-corset.
Owing to the experienced doctors and technicians of the Center, who professionally examine the patient and take all necessary measurements for subsequent manufacture of the device, taking into account individual features of the patient’s pathology case, it is possible to manufacture orthoses of any complexity.
