Rehabilitation after amputation depends on you only on 90%!
Leonid Mykolaiovych is one of few people who charged the whole our staff with positive. The client it was not only pleasant to work with, but also to listen to his life experience, histories. A man wise in life decided to tell a little about himself and leave parting words for all those who found themselves in a similar situation as himself!
– I want to address people with amputations who because of any reasons cannot stand on crutches or a prosthesis. I am 72 years old. In 2017, after many operations, my leg was amputated. After the amputation of my leg my strength left me, I could not get out of bed without the help of my family – my wife, children, and also my grandson Toma. I started doing physical exercises I that came up with myself.
Some time later I stood on crutches. When I got stronger already and felt strength, my wife and children took me to the Center for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Care Tellus.
We were met by a very good staff. I was sent to a Prosthesis Technician of the Center. A very pleasant man, we talked with him and he told me that my success consists of 10% his success and the rest is my own work.
Thanks to my family and a great prosthesis now I walk confidently without a cane and got employed. I drive car unassisted and do all home daily routine.
I am very grateful to my family and also to all the staff of the Tellus Center for all the work done.
And we are grateful to Leonid Mykolaiovych and his family that it was our Center that he chose! Thank you for trusting us!
