And victory again! Our client with prosthesis won bronze in the Hague
In the evening on April 17, 2022 our client Oleksii Bobchynets won the “bronze” in running 1500 m with prosthetic at Invictus Games.
Invictus Games (eng. — Games of the Invincible) are international multidisciplinary competitions of former and serving military personnel who are injured or disabled in service. Similar to the Paralympic Games, these competitions have been held in different countries since 2014 at the initiative of British Prince Harry (now holding the title of Duke of Sussex).
Name of the games goes back to the most famous poem by English poet William Ernst Henley – Invictus (from Latin – “victorious”), actively used to popularize the competition.
Oleksiy Bobchinets, an officer of the Institute of Naval Forces, went to defend the country at the age of 22 – he served in the 137th separate battalion of the Marine Corps, Captain 3rd rank. The guy exploded on an anti-personnel mine in Pavlopol (Donetsk region). Thanks to sports, Oleksiy did not break down after the severe injury, but on the contrary, he began to develop physically and traditionally proudly glorifies Ukraine on the world arena!
We are very proud and congratulate Oleksii! We wish him to go on winning, get medals, reaching new heights and be an example for others!
