Freika pillow (hip orthosis)

A Freika pillow or hip orthosis is needed for reduction and fixation of a congenital dislocation of the hip joint until it is fully mature.

The pillow provides fixation of the hips in the position of flexion and abduction in the hip joint at the same time.

Indications for use:

• Mild hip dysplasia
• Pre-dislocation of the femoral head
• Sub-dislocation of the femoral head
