Myoelectric prosthetic hand

description
characteristic
specifications

The myoelectric shoulder prosthesis allows you to get as close as possible to the natural movement pattern of a healthy arm. The harmonic movements of the module, characterized by high precision and speed, give the user unattainable independence in everyday life.

The Ottobock myoelectric prosthesis allows you to significantly increase your range of motion. It reacts to your muscle signals and thus allows you to control smooth movements. These signals can be measured on the surface of the skin when certain forearm muscles are tensed with a special Ottobock device, which is located in our center.

Sensors in the sleeve, so-called electrodes, perceive the signals for further conversion and control the motor that performs the hand movements, allowing the hand to be clenched or unclenched. Due to the high gripping force and high speed, the hand quickly and accurately picks up objects. Such a prosthesis can only be made if there are sufficient signals after testing on the device.
