    We love telling our clients’ stories and this one is without a doubt a special one too. Our story is about an inspirational guy who doesn’t give up hope of finding like-minded people to build a team.

    Sokol Taras was born in the village of Chernizh, in Volyn. He was born with two legs, however, the left one was shorter than the right. For the first nine years Taras walked almost fully, just limping slightly. However, the older the young man became, the difference in leg length became greater. Once Taras fell on his left leg and after that he could not stand on it.

  • Life is worth living it in an interesting way

    My name is Christine. Last year I got into a car accident. I was taken to the hospital without a leg, with multiple fractures and very severe traumatic shock. To tell the truth, I did not immediately understand that a traumatic amputation of the leg had occurred, and for some reason no one dared to tell me about it. I discovered it by accident myself a couple of days later in intensive care. Over a short period of time there were many operations. In total, I was in the hospital for almost 3 months.

  • A young boy without a leg and an arm sets a Ukrainian record

    The country learned about Mykola from the village of Mykilske, near Mariupol, five years ago. Kolia, his younger brother Daniil and two friends found a shell from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher at a firing range. They brought it home. Playing with an explosive object led to tragedy. The shell detonated. Mykola’s brother died, and he himself lost an arm and both legs.

    I have been catching colds a lot lately and as usual I took an anti-inflammatory and went to bed. A few hours later they called an ambulance. My legs were covered with black spots in a second and I lost consciousness. Then followed 7 minutes of clinical death, resuscitation and 5 days of coma.

  • My life changed, I started wheelchairs fencing

    My story began far back in 2008…

    I was an ordinary pupil, playing sports, but everything changed. It was winter, late February, we were coming home from guests late at night. When I got home I started to have pain in my leg. Sitting on the couch I began to massage the area that hurt and felt a small swelling in my thigh, showed my mom and the next day we went to the doctor. In the hospital the doctor sent us to Kyiv, Lomonosov Cancer Institute for examination. There I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, where I was immediately assigned to undergo “6” blocks of heavy chemotherapy before surgery.
